A live radio recording of Frank Wilson's adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's classic chilling tale of horror and madness, 'The Tell-Tale Heart'.
Re-imagined for a modern audience, the play explores our fear of ageing and the old. The terror of being trapped inside a frail and vulnerable body as well as the pity and loathing that the young and healthy may secretly have for the elderly, particularly as a carer.
The play was performed and recorded live in front of an audience at Beddow Library, on Halloween.
Funded by Portsmouth Council as part of City of Stories.
